Placed strategically across two villages, Mandaria and Dhankuni, near the PTR, these devices have been monitored by the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) in conjunction with the forest department. Initial reports following the installation have suggested a noticeable decrease in tiger activity around these communities. Abhishek Ghosal from WTI noted that while it is still early to draw definitive conclusions, the monitoring is ongoing, and initial results are promising.
