At the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, AMG signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Invest UP from the Uttar Pradesh government, setting the stage for this transformative venture.
The proposed AI infrastructure hub aims to cater to escalating global demands for high-performance computing, particularly from international hyperscalers and enterprises focusing on cutting-edge AI workloads. The development will be phased, with initial capacity expected to be operational by 2028 and the full 1GW capacity targeted for completion by 2030. The facility will utilize around 500,000 advanced chipsets and will be designed to operate 24/7, harnessing renewable energy sources, including wind, solar, and pumped storage.
